UNION x VANS FOR COMPLEXCON
For the Vans x Union collaboration launch, we took a nod from Vans’ storied skate history and backyard pool skating, creating a deconstructed pool installation for the Union Los Angeles ComplexCon booth. We partnered with Feruxe fabricators to develop the 250 sq ft faux concrete pool keeping it light and mobile for installation and transport to and from the venue. We utilized the collaboration print to mimic the “tile” pool coping and added artificial rubble and real rebar to give that run-down, dilapidated feel, creating the perfect setting for their one-of-a-kind gear. This buildout was featured in WWD, Complex, LATaco, and more.
