Creative Drinking created the visual language for the 2018 and 2019 House of Vans House Parties which included the series brand identity, individual show branded posters with modular variations. Our team created patterns, motion graphics, custom typefaces and art direction for social, environmental, digital, wild postings and marketing materials.
The iconic series would mark the sunsetting of the House of Vans in Brooklyn, and showcase acts including Anderson.Paak, Blondie, The Dead Milkmen, Deerhunter, Interpol, Slowdive, Vince Staples, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Deerhunter.

Artist Curation
To add on to the series Vans had each headlining artist act as a curator, hand-picking all supporting talent and the artist that would create a personalized visual art experience for fans. Creative Drinking worked directly with the headlining artist to curate the visual artist and transform the venue into an immersive, one-of-a-kind art experience for each event. Art experiences included a 60 foot mural by illustrator Jay Howell, a recreation of Smith Street Tattoo with live tattoo sessions with Bert Krak, and a photography exhibition for Blondie’s Chris Stein. We brought Iceage’s stage visuals to life using thousands of feet of rain curtains with Scenographer Christian Friedlander, and transported you inside the pages of BANK’s poetry book. Our team created interactive photo booths to mark the launch of Interpol's sixth studio album Marauder, and Anderson.Paak’s newest album with Dewey Saunders and created multi-media experiences with artists Rich Jacobs, Chris Biggs and more.
