Vans Checkerboard Day is a global initiative established to champion the power of creative expression worldwide. Creative Drinking Agency was tasked with the creative strategy and production of a public art initiative that would spark conversation around Mental Health. We curated and produced a series of murals with 11 artists across the US, including Detroit, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and Philadelphia, whose shared purpose was focused on creativity's vital role in helping individuals and communities address mental health and well-being. Alongside the murals, Vans donated over $1M to organizations that support mental wellness because creativity is good for your head.
